Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a UK-based engineering company specialising in bespoke air handling, acoustic control, and energy-efficient ventilation systems. They deliver complex installations nationwide, with a growing portfolio across the Midlands and South.

We are currently seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join the team. This is a field-based role, requiring regular travel to sites across the UK (primarily Midlands/South), reporting into their QESH Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular site safety inspections at active client locations nationwide
  • Review and advise on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for upcoming and ongoing projects
  • Lead investigations into incidents, near misses, and breaches, reporting findings and corrective actions
  • Act as the main point of contact for site-based HSEQ matters
  • Promote a positive safety culture through engagement with site teams and clients
  • Deliver on-site coaching, toolbox talks, and safety briefings as required
  • Identify and report quality non-conformances (NCRs) and support teams with resolution
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, NCRs, and corrective actions
  • Provide regular updates to the QESH Manager regarding site status, risks, and trends

Requirements:

  • CSCS card (essential)
  • Previous HSE experience in engineering, construction, or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality systems
  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the UK
  • Excellent communication and investigation/report writing skills
