Child Care Solicitor / Legal Executive Advocate – [Location]NQ to Senior Level | £45,000 – £65,000 A well-regarded and forward-thinking firm is looking to add a passionate Child Care Solicitor or Legal Executive Advocate to its growing Family Law team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to be part of a genuinely supportive environment, working on meaningful and rewarding cases that make a real difference.The firm is open to considering candidates from Newly Qualified level right through to experienced senior solicitors – so whether you’re just starting your career or looking for your next big step, they’d love to hear from you.You’ll be running your own caseload of public and private children law matters, regularly attending court, and working closely with clients, local authorities, and other professionals to secure the best outcomes for vulnerable children and families.What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Managing a caseload of children law matters from instruction to conclusion.
  • Providing clear and compassionate legal advice to clients.
  • Representing clients at court in care proceedings, supervision orders, and adoption matters.
  • Preparing detailed applications, witness statements, and court reports.
  • Liaising with local authorities, social workers, and guardians.
  • Keeping up to date with legal developments in child protection law.
  • Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and procedural requirements.
  • Supporting junior colleagues and sharing knowledge as needed.
  • Playing a part in business development and building strong client relationships.
  • Keeping accurate, well-maintained file records in line with firm policy.
  • Taking part in training, networking, and CPD activities.
What They’re Looking For:
  • NQ to Senior level Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in children law.
  • LAA Supervisor status would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Strong advocacy skills and confidence in handling contested hearings.
  • A caring, client-focused approach and excellent communication skills.
