Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a team based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is a full-time, permanent job. Benefits include a generous holiday allowance, flexible working hours, hybrid working (2-3 days per week remote) and bonus scheme.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Family Solicitor will be dealing with child abduction cases, cohabitation/prenups, divorce and financial settlements, domestic violence, children’s issues, forced marriages and social services.

You will be responsible for developing and managing your own caseload, providing legal advice to clients on all aspects of family law, including both private and legally aided matters. The firm are seeking a candidate with a genuine interest in handling a broad spectrum of private family law issues. Full secretarial support will be available to assist you in your role.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within family law. You will also be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

  • Ability to deal with technical details and to express solutions to complex legal problems in a concise and client-friendly way.
  • Possess a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Have the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
