Description
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and manage continuous improvement projects within the manufacturing department.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams made up of internal colleagues and contractors.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Identify areas for process improvement and develop strategies to address these.
- Provide training and coaching to team members on continuous improvement methodologies.
- Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies.
Profile
A successful CI Engineer should have:
- A degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with CI tools such as Kaizen, SMED, route cause analysis, etc.
- Experience using data analysis to identify and solve technical problems.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Experience in leading and managing technical projects.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
