Info about what the role entails
An Engineering Manager leading a multi-disciplinary team designing and manufacturing moisture meters will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development and innovation. This role involves setting strategic direction to accelerate business growth, including identifying opportunities for market expansion and improving product offerings. The manager will guide the team in developing new moisture meter technologies, ensuring that designs meet both technical specifications and customer needs. As a technical lead, the role requires in-depth knowledge of engineering principles to drive innovation while also providing mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment to enhance skills, productivity, and quality in both design and manufacturing processes.
Requirements of the Engineering Manager
Background working for a sensor or instrumentation manufacturer.
Technical engineering background (electrical or mechanical).
Project management experience beneficial.
Proven track record managing/mentoring engineers.
