Description
The Engineering Manager will report to the UK Engineering Director and will be responsible for:
- Managing and developing the engineering team.
- Overseeing technical review meetings, workshops, and customer training sessions.
- Leading product development projects and ensuring smooth transition into manufacturing.
- Managing technical specifications for customer tenders and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Creating technical literature and supporting product launches.
- Liaising with engineers and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient implementation of projects.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- Engineering qualification (mechanical bias preferred).
- Strong technical design background within electrical components and solutions or related industry.
- Proven ability in leading dynamic teams.
- Strong project management skills
- Broad knowledge of production and engineering methods.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead a team effectively.
- Flexible approach with willingness to travel to other UK sites (once or twice a month).
