Elevation Recruitment Groups Design & Projects team are currently working with a specialist manufacturing engineering company who are recruiting a Design Engineer to strengthen their technical division. Working for as part of a leading group of companies this is a great opportunity for an engineer looking to design specific solutions for customers in a small and inclusive team. Duties of the Design Engineer will include:
- Ensure that the manufacturing drawings implement only the changes specified in the design instructions
- Support the Mechanical Design and Engineering Manager in investigating errors to identify and eradicate the root cause
- The design and development of engineered products
- Produce detailed drawings and 3D CAD models
- Completing bills of material
We are keen to speak with Design Engineer will need:
- Apprentice trained in Design engineering or similar
- Experience of mechanical design
- Excellent communication skills
- 3D CAD, Solidworks, Inventor or Solid Edge experience
