Description

As Production Manager you will report into the Senior Operations Manager and be responsible for a team of approximately 40 staff, including two Front Line Managers. This role is days based and would work alongside the Production Manager for the Assembly department.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing and leading your team, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and high performance.
  • Ensuring that daily production targets and schedules are met while maintaining quality standards, collaborating with the Quality Assurance (QA) team.
  • Promoting and enforcing health and safety practices to ensure a safe working environment in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Optimising production by supporting continuous improvement (CI) initiatives through monitoring and managing resources - including materials, people, and equipment

Profile

As Production Manager this candidate will have a proficient background in people management within a manufacturing environment or similar, alongside a range of the following:

Familiarity with a high SKU, inventory-centric manufacturing environment

Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety practices

An ambitious, collaborative and data-orientated approach

Team-oriented mindset

Familiarity with HR best practice

Good understanding of manufacturing compliance
