Teachwise is currently looking for a skilled and experienced behaviour mentor for a local secondary academy based in Bradford. The role will begin on 5th Januaryand will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the summer.

The role will involve working with pupils across KS3 & KS4 who are dis-engaged and exhibit challenging behaviour. You will need to have excellent communication skills coupled with an ability to engage with a pupils from a wide array of backgrounds.

The position would suit someone who has previously worked as a behaviour mentor within a secondary school setting or someone who has worked with secondary age pupils within a sports club,youth club or outreach.

Key skills:

  • Experience working with pupils across KS3/4
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to engage and build rapport quickly
  • Ability to manage and improve challenging behaviour
  • Committed to pupil progress and positive outcomes
  • Available from January 2026
  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold and enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
