About the Role:We are working with a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in the Buttershaw area of Bradford, known for its strong community spirit and commitment to educational progress. This is a full-time, temporary role starting ASAP until the end of the summer term, ideal for an experienced English Teacher or a confident ECT ready to make a lasting impact. Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong subject knowledge and curriculum awareness
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7-11)
- Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature
- Mark and assess work, providing constructive feedback
- Track student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Differentiate lessons to support varied learning needs
- Establish and maintain a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and support staff
- Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment
- Encourage student participation in discussions and debates
