This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner with experience teaching in Year 3 and/or Year 4, committed to supporting pupils as they consolidate key skills, develop confidence, and prepare for the next stage of their primary journey.
The Role - LKS2 Teacher
As an LKS2 Teacher working through Academics, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Support pupils' progress in core subjects including reading, writing, and maths.
- Use effective assessment strategies to monitor learning and inform next steps.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where all learners can thrive.
- Collaborate with colleagues, school leaders, and parents to support pupil achievement and wellbeing.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.
- Recent experience teaching in Year 3 or Year 4, with a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- A commitment to raising attainment and fostering a love of learning.
- Excellent classroom management, subject knowledge, and communication skills.
