Day to Day of the role:

  • Deliver outstanding classroom practice and contribute to the learning and development of UKS2 pupils
  • Engage in shared planning and collaboration with colleagues
  • Lead a curriculum subject confidently, contributing to the school’s development
  • Foster a happy, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all children
  • Implement effective pedagogy to raise attainment and accelerate progress
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues, children, parents, governors, and external agencies
  • Reflect on teaching practices and lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in teaching and learning within UKS2
  • Strong commitment to raising pupil achievement
  • Ability to work as an active member of the school team
  • Commitment to inclusion and the ability to cater to all children
  • Efficient and organised with the ability to self-manage in a busy school environment
