Salary: ECT/MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)Location: KeighleyDates: Sept 2024- Dec 2024 (with the potential to continue until Feb 2025)Reed Education are supporting a Primary School in Bradford with the recruitment of a Year 5/6 Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is eager to contribute to their ethos of nurturing students and delivering an exciting curriculum.
Day to Day of the role:
- Deliver outstanding classroom practice and contribute to the learning and development of UKS2 pupils
- Engage in shared planning and collaboration with colleagues
- Lead a curriculum subject confidently, contributing to the school’s development
- Foster a happy, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all children
- Implement effective pedagogy to raise attainment and accelerate progress
- Work cooperatively with colleagues, children, parents, governors, and external agencies
- Reflect on teaching practices and lead by example, promoting a culture of continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in teaching and learning within UKS2
- Strong commitment to raising pupil achievement
- Ability to work as an active member of the school team
- Commitment to inclusion and the ability to cater to all children
- Efficient and organised with the ability to self-manage in a busy school environment
