We are working on behalf of a leading medicail devices manufacturer and require a Process Engineer with Validation experience to join the team based in Bradford (West Yorkshire) on a 6 month permanent contract
ROLE PURPOSE
The postholder will provide temporary support of the process validations within a manufacturing environment in preparation for a quality audit. The postholder will help find issues and provide practical solutions to improve the processes within a manufacturing environment.
KEY TASKS & ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assessing manufacturing processes and taking measurements and data
- Developing practices, routines and solutions to help improve productivity and product quality
- Designing and running process simulations, performing risk assessment testing to eliminate time and cost constraints
- Preparing process documentation and operating instructions
- Overseeing and assessing new and existing processes and workflows
- Devising, implementing and testing new strategies to help optimise productivity
- Analysing data to discover areas that need improvements and upgrades
- Assessing compliance and adherence to safety and quality standards, and reporting to higher management about their findings and proposals
This list is not exhaustive and the postholder will be expected to undertake other duties as assigned by line manager or Director and for which the postholder is suitably qualified and experienced to undertake.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Experience of process validations within a manufacturing environment
- Ability to lead, manage and persuade others to improve work practices
- In depth understanding of process engineering software and systems
- Experience in process modelling and simulation
