About the Role:

A leading manufacturing organisation is seeking a Production Area Supervisor to lead and develop people and processes within a designated production area. This role is key to driving performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety & Compliance
    • Lead operational safety walks, audits, and risk assessments and 5S Audits
    • Ensure PPE adherence and compliance with health, safety, and quality standards
  • Quality & Continuous Improvement
    • Drive LEAN processes and continuous improvement activities
    • Manage scrap and support corrective actions
  • Production & Delivery
    • Oversee capacity planning and production performance (OTIF, OEE)
    • Lead shift handovers, reporting, and team briefings
    • Support monthly reporting and business projects
  • Cost Management
    • Manage departmental budgets and support long-range planning

People Leadership

  • Foster a positive, inclusive culture aligned with company values
  • Support onboarding, training, performance reviews, and employee relations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience
