NextGen Teachers are proud to be working with a Secondary School in Bradford (BD9) who are currently searching for a Design and Technology Food Teacher. The school are looking for someone who is passionate about teaching Food and Nutrition and inspiring pupils. The ideal candidate will have a background in both teaching and food/ nutrition.

About the Role:

As our Food Technology Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum guidelines
  • Promote healthy eating, sustainability, and kitchen safety
Requirements:
  • A qualified teacher with QTS
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
  • A strong subject knowledge of nutrition, food science, and hygiene regulations
  • A commitment to inclusive education and high standards of achievement for all learners
  • Excellent organizational and classroom management skills
