Essential Qualifications:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Strong subject knowledge of the English curriculum at KS3 and KS4
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature assessments
- Mark work and provide effective feedback in a timely manner
- Monitor and track student progress using school systems
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development
- Uphold school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and equal opportunities
- Promote a love of reading and language across the school
- Participate in school events and whole-school activities
