The Role - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
As a HLTA working through Academics, you will:
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
- Provide targeted intervention and support for individuals and small groups.
- Assist in planning, preparing, and assessing learning activities.
- Promote positive behaviour and create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and the wider school community to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
About You
To be considered for this HLTA position, you should have:
- HLTA status or equivalent relevant qualification/experience.
- Proven experience supporting learning across the primary phase.
- Confidence to deliver lessons and manage whole classes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach.
