About the Role:
We are seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who are enthusiastic about making a real difference in the classroom. You'll work closely with teachers and SENDCOs to support pupils with a range of needs, including:
- Autism (ASD)
- Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH)
- Speech and Language difficulties
- Learning difficulties
- Behavioural needs
Whether you're looking for day-to-day, short-term, or long-term roles, we can offer you assignments that fit your availability and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs
- Assist the class teacher in delivering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Support pupils' academic and personal development
- Adapt resources and teaching strategies to meet individual needs
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational or SEND setting
- A genuine passion for supporting learners of all abilities
- Patience, resilience, and excellent communication skills
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply through us)
- Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essential
