SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant with experience?  

Are you available to start immediately after the half term break?

This exciting SEN Teaching Assistant vacancy is the perfect opportunity for anyone who is looking to work 121 and in small groups within a Resource provision of a Secondary school in Bradford. The role is starting ASAP on a full time basis Monday to Friday paying from £100-£120 per day depending on experience.

SEN Teaching Assistant responsibilities:

You will be required to support a various pupils of various ages withing the provision in the school. You will be expected to support the teaching and learning of this pupil and follow the school’s policies and procedures.

To be considered for the SEN teaching assistant role you should have:

  • The ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students.
  • Experience of working in schools – primary and/ or secondary.
  • Experience of working with pupil with SEMH
  • Understanding of de-escalation and managing challenging behaviour
  • Be resilient in working with children who can display extreme behaviour
