An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Secondary Maths Class Teacher to join a fantastic all-through private international school located in Doha, Qatar. We are looking for someone who can join us from August / September 2025. We are also looking for someone to become Head of our Mathematics department.

We are a large school that caters for students from Nursery up to Key Stage 5. The School delivers the British National Curriculum and has a wide range of facilities offering a vast range of specialist subjects and extra-curricular activities.

Our (Secondary School) is seeking an inspirational Head of Maths to join the staff team at this successful and improving school. 
 
The department has consistently achieved the highest AS Level and IGCSE results across the school. It is a well-resourced department boasting a variety of resources to aid teachers deliver consistently good to outstanding lessons. 
 
Each student in the academy has a tablet (windows platform) that is used as an additional tool to aid student learning. Our students have a genuine passion for Mathematics with the entire IGCSE cohort entering early in the (year 11) January exam series. 
 
The candidate will inherit an experienced team who are well aware of the systems and processes in place. The department consists of 7 teachers and 1 Head of Department (HoD). The candidate will be expected to work with the current HoD and undergo a successful transition.

The successful applicant:

· A qualified and talented Maths Class Teacher who has a passion for learning

· Experienced Class Teacher with TLR / management experience

· All applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status obtained in the UK

· All applicants must hold a degree and have experience teaching the National Curriculum in England
