Independent Reviewing Officer- - on going contract

NonStop Care is currently working with a well established authority in South East, who are looking for a Independent Reviewing Officer to join their service in the safeguarding and Reviewing Team .

The authority works collaboratively with children and families ensuring the best outcomes for children and a rewarding work environment for you! You will have the comfort of joining an authority with experienced staff/ management helping you along the way!

Responsibilities:

  • The role will involve travel to placements, both face to face meetings and hybrid meetings and participating in any team away days and team meetings.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a related field.

  • Experience of all service user groups and with users from ethnic minorities.

  • Experience of residential and family placement services.

  • Experience of child protection work

  • knowledge and experience of the systems for children in care and be professionally confident and competent in challenging standards of care and practice
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Excellent report writing skills/assessment skills
  • Significant IRO experience
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Professional references
