About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and proactive Learning Support Assistant for a full-time maternity cover starting ASAP in Bradford. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting them academically, emotionally, and socially to ensure they can access the curriculum fully and achieve their best.

Requirements
- Level 2 or 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Not essential)
- Understanding of SEND and additional learning needs
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
- Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with additional learning needs.
- Assisting in classroom delivery under the direction of the class teacher.
- Supporting students with emotional regulation and behaviour management.
- Building positive, trusting relationships with students who may need additional care and consistency.
- Encouraging the development of independent learning skills.
- Liaising with SENCOs and outside professionals where necessary.
- Promoting positive behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.
- Attending and contributing to training and CPD opportunities.
- Collaborating with colleagues across departments to support student learning.
- Contributing to maintaining safeguarding and child protection protocols.
