Vision for Education is looking for a SEND support worker/TA to work with one of our partnership schools in the Bradford area.

Working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities is a rewarding job like no other. The role of a SEND support worker­/TA will be required to fulfil a range of duties including:

• 1:1 support with children from age 5-19.
• Provide calming and nurturing support for some of the most vulnerable students with EHCP's.
• Working with small groups of children providing intervention support.
• Working with children with a range of complex needs.
• Work collaboratively with other staff members.

The candidate we are looking for will have:

• A passion for working with children with a range of complex needs and learning disabilities.
• A passion for education and improving attainment for children with SEND.
• Provide a high standard of support for children with SEND.
• The patience and care that is needed to support children with SEND.
• Can demonstrate confidence and flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

If you have personal experience with children and young adults with SEND and a understanding of complex needs including: communication and interaction difficulties, autism and severe learning disabilities, we want to hear from you.
