SEN Teaching Assistant - Mainstream School (Bradford)Full-Time | Long-Term | Immediate or September Start

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive mainstream school in the Bradford area to recruit a committed SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a full-time, long-term position supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), with the opportunity to start immediately or from September.

The role includes:

  • Supporting students with a range of SEN needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH)

  • Working 1:1 and in small groups to aid access to learning

  • Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored support

  • Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in the classroom

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting

  • Be patient, adaptable, and confident in managing behaviour

  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
