The School and Role

Empowering Learning is working closely with an FE College in Central Bradford which caters for a wide range of pupil's needs and abilities over the age of 16. The College are seeking support in their SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).

Requirements

The desired SEN Learning Support Assistant - Further Education will have.

  1. Grade C in both maths and English (or equivalent. This means if grades were gained in an oversees country you will need to check that they are equivalent).
  2. A full enhanced DBS check that covers both children and adults.
  3. Some experience of support work. Ideally in education but a health/social care capacity is also fine.
  4. All must be willing to have a mini Teams interview with a coordinator to answer a few questions.
  5. All are usually required between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, ideally 5 days a week initially.
