A new Air Export Co-ordintor role based in Bradford working for a leading and expanding Global Logistics company with offices based across the UK and USA

Purpose:
- Co-ordination of air export department
- Responsibility for invoicing & profitability
- Responsibility for Customs Compliance
- Processing of HMRC queries through to resolution and closure, minimising duty/tax liability
- Internal customs audit and assessments and analysis on this data

Key Relationships:

External:
- Key client contacts: Shipping & Logistics Supervisors & Managers
- Road Hauliers, co-loaders and transport providers. HMRC

Internal:
- Departmental Managers & Supervisors
- Operations manager(s) through to Director level, operations staff, sales and key accounts and Accounts teams

Core Capabilities:
- Ideally must have an Air Export background, but Sea Export and Air imports also considered
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A polite, confident, mature and professional manner.
- HMRC Export Customs Procedural knowledge
- Confidence with a computer including excel, CRM database and BoxTop.
- Enjoy working with customers and building relationships.
- Must be able to work well within a target driven environment.
- Have a strong attention to detail and accuracy and action-orientated with problem solving

Key Tasks/Responsibilities
- Day to Day responsibility for customer service delivery to Air export customers and agents
- Management of emails and procedural work flows of consignments
- Follow up and resolve all any operational issues / customer service concerns raised by the customer
- Responsibility for Gross Profit analysis, Sales Invoicing and job costing accuracy
- To promote business development, ensuring all opportunities from existing business are followed through telephone sales, prospect follow up and quotations.
- Contribute to ongoing operational development and cost saving measures
- Identify areas of operational improvement by reviewing process regularly
- Processing of export documents and creation/submission of Customs export Declarations
- Keep up to date with Market trends, Mapcargo products, services and news.
- Establish, Manage and Maintain Internal and External Relationships.
- Fully Document attributed client's business processes and requirements.
- Managing Implementation for new business
- Ensure all HMRC Export and Import entry regulations are met, through self-auditing
- Ensuring accuracy of Export and Import entry declarations through self-auditing
- Issuing of monthly client reports (ASM / Boxtop)
