We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join a well-established engineering manufacturer on a temporary basis during their busy period, with the possibility of permanent employment. Offering up to 35k per year plus generous overtime, this is a great opportunity for a fabricator experienced in both MIG and TIG welding.
What's on offer to the welder fabricator:
- Pay: 15-17 per hour, depending on experience
- 33 days annual leave
- Generous Overtime: paid at time and a half
- Hours: core hours 6:00 am - 6:00 pm, but currently contacted to work 7:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Potential for permanent employment
Key responsibilities for the welder fabricator:
- Carry out MIG and TIG welding safely and efficiently
- Work with mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Ensure high-quality standards are met on all work
- Use hand tools and plant equipment as needed
Skills and experience required:
- Experienced in all aspects of fabrication and sheet metal work
- Confident MIG and TIG welder capable of working to tight tolerances
- Comfortable using hand tools, guillotines, rollers, and grinders
- Able to finish and dress surfaces to a high standard
