Your New Role
Our client is a rapidly growing commercial construction business based in Braintree, who are seeking a motivated, ambitious and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their small Finance Team. The role itself is highly varied across the finance landscape, from assisting the Finance Manager with the preparation of monthly management accounts, process invoices, bank reconciliations and supporting with year end processes. There are other elements of the role which include CIS payroll, working with external suppliers and ensuring a smooth and robust finance process.
Ensuring Your Success
Ideally you will have some previous experience working within a similar role, desirably within construction, but not essential. You will be qualified by experience or hold certifications such as AAT. Strong excel skills are a must, ideally with some experience working on accounting softwares, such as, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks. Prior bookkeeping experience, working on month/year end processes with the ability to work individually and as part of a team is key. Personality wise, you will be a driven and ambitious individual who is looking to quickly excel your career.
