You will be working for an award-winning, growing National Property Developer with offices in Canary Wharf and Braintree. They are seeking a talented Reconciliations Clerk to join their expanding company. Their development team operate in two markets, National Property Development & Civils. They purchase old commercial properties and refurbish them into residential properties through Permitted Development. Their Civils teams provide civil engineering solutions for the Construction & Telecoms industries. They are successful, financially stable and growing consistently.As the Reconciliations Clerk you will be supporting a group of business accounts under one roof, using Xero and Microsoft Excel. Your duties will include reconciliations including fixed assets and bank statements, nominal ledger reconciliations and balance sheets. This is a full-time, office-based position, the working hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm , or from 9 am to 5 pm, whichever you prefer.To be considered for the Reconciliations Clerk you will need…
- Your own transport and they are based outside of central Braintree.
- To live within a reasonable distance of Braintree.
- To have working experience as a Reconciliations Clerk or similar role.
- To have knowledge of Xero (or Sage if happy to learn Xero).
- To have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Email.
- To be organised, and confident to multi-task, with strict attention to detail.
- To be a strong communicator and team player.
- Experience working for a company group would be beneficial, although this is not essential.
- Any experience working in the property, new build or construction industries would also be highly beneficial but again this is not essential.
