School Chef - Up to £19.50 phr inc holiday pay - paid every Friday - Braintree
We are seeking dedicated & temporary Chef De Partie, Chef or Head Chef to join our clients (Education settings) in and around the Braintree area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced School or Care Home Chef to join our clients, where you will be required to cook delicious and fresh meals for their students.
You require a valid enhanced DBS certificate on the child barred service dated within the last 2 years or on the update service for this role (platinum employment can support you with this, the DBS will then be yours to keep) and ideally a full UK driving licence for this role.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate up to £19.50 phr inc holiday pay
- School hours and term time only
- Weekly paid - Every Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
- Ensuring food hygiene and safety standards are met
- Maintaining a clean and tidy kitchen
- Working as part of a team
Essential Requirements:
- A valid enhanced Child barred DBS check, dated within the last 2 years or on the update service.
- Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate
- Ideally a food allergen certificate (can be completed through Platinum Employment)
- Full UK Driving licence and car would be an advantage
- Previous experience as a chef or cook in a Care or Education setting
