Finance Manager (Standalone)

Your New Role

Our client is a growing construction company, under new leadership in Braintree with ambitious growth plans. They are searching for a talented Finance Manager who shares their ambition. This position is a varied standalone finance manager, with large progression scope. In this varied role, you will be tasked with preparing all management accounts, cash flow forecasting, coordinating the annuals budgets and presenting to the senior leadership team. Other elements, include, bookkeeping, overseeing inventory and providing payrolling solutions for both permanent staff and sub-contracts. You will be reporting directly into the MD and be a pivotal part of the growth strategy.

Ensuring Your Success

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience working within a smaller business, leading financial operations. You will have varied experience, with the ability to do high level accounts as well as more basic bookkeeping, payroll and auditing. Personality wise, this role requires a real self starter who is driven by growth, with excellent interpersonal skills, who can present and influence effectively. Ideally, you will hold an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA). Coming from a construction background is highly desirable.
