CK Group are recruiting for a Food Safety Manager, to join an ingredients and additives manufacturing company, based in Braintree.

The Company:
Our client is a manufacturer of ingredients that are supplied to the food, industrial and personal care industries.

Salary:
50,000 - 60,000 per annum

Benefits:
  • 25 days (increasing by 1 day each year, up to 28 days), plus public holidays.
  • Access to pension scheme (4% employee, 4% employer contributions) and pension membership qualifies employees for life cover (6x salary) and income protection.
  • 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri (early finish on a Friday).
  • Free on site parking
Food Safety Manager Role:
  • Assist in the design and implementation of production equipment, product flow and separation to ensure conformity to BRC/FSSC 22000/Hygiene and HACCP requirements.
  • Ensure the food/feed safety management system is maintained and updated.
  • Ensure all products manufactured or traded meet all aspects of current food/feed safety legislation
  • Development and training of all site employees to ensure that hygiene and GMP is in operation at all times.
  • Scheduling and managing customer quality audits.
  • Maintain and deliver CAPA reports been delivered.
Your background:
  • Senior background in the FSM/Quality/Compliance role in the food sector and excellent communication skills.
