Empowering Learning is recruiting on behalf of a successful and oversubscribed secondary school in Essex, seeking a dedicated MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) to join their dynamic and supportive languages department. The school has an outstanding ethos and is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across KS3-KS5, underpinned by a strong focus on professional development (CPD) and continuous improvement.
As an MFL Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering an engaging and ambitious curriculum in French and Spanish. You will inspire students to develop their linguistic skills and cultural understanding, using effective behaviour management and tailored interventions to ensure excellent pupil progress and inclusion across all key stages.
Responsibilities / Role Highlights
Deliver engaging French and Spanish lessons across KS3-KS5.
Plan and implement a curriculum that promotes progression and language fluency.
Use effective behaviour management to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Monitor and support pupil progress through assessment and targeted interventions.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop the MFL curriculum.

What You'll Need
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in French, Spanish, or a related subject.
Strong curriculum knowledge and experience teaching French and Spanish across KS3-KS5.
A passion for teaching and learning, inclusion, and student success.
Proven ability to raise aspirations and deliver effective interventions.
A reflective, professional, and innovative approach to classroom practice.
