Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Paint Sprayer on behalf of our client based in Braintree, on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for specialising in the production of high-specification fire and acoustic doors, doorsets, and panelling. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their skilled team.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Spraying a variety of timber products using water-based and PU (polyurethane) paints
  • Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming
  • Mixing and colour-matching paints to required specifications
  • Ensuring a smooth, even finish with attention to quality and consistency
  • Maintaining spray booths and equipment to a high standard
  • Working to production deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Quality checking finished items before they leave the spray shop
  • Following health and safety guidelines at all times

Experience, Education & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a spray-painting role, ideally within a joinery, furniture, or timber manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of both water-based and PU spray systems
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Good understanding of health and safety within a spray environment
