OCEAN FREIGHT KEY ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE - BRAINTREE - ON SITE

HRGO are working with a blue-chip company who work within the Freight Forwarding, logistics and supply chain sector. The client offers full supply chain services business for Road, Air, Rail and Sea.

This amazing role with be to join the OCEAN FREIGHT team as a key account executive for their Braintree office. ON-SITE ROLE

WE are looking for a min 3 years' experience in OCEAN FREIGHT.

Strong understanding of ocean freight processes, shipping documents, and regulations (INCONTERMS, Customs Clearance)

Overview:

  • Ocean Freight key account Executive - Overseeing and managing key account clients allocated with SOP as a SPOC.
  • Managing shipments
  • Compliance with International trade regulations.
  • Optimising freight costs
  • Communication between clients, carriers and internal teams
  • Responsible for retention and development of key accounts
  • Manage daily ocean freight operations, including booking, scheduling and tracking shipments
  • Coordinate and communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders and customers to ensure smooth end-to-end shipping process.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of carriers and third-party logistics providers to ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Serve and primary point of contact for clients, handling enquires, resolving issues and maintain strong relationships.
  • Negotiate rates with carriers and secure cost-effective and reliable services.
  • Ensure all operations comply with shipping regulations, including customs and trade compliance.
  • Monitor and mange risks associated with ocean freight, i.e. delays, damages and losses.
  • Assist in preparing and managing costs.
  • Monitor operational costs and implement cost-saving measures where applicable.
  • Review and approve invoices, ensure accuracy and timely payments.
