Trainee Lettings Consultant

Job Title: Trainee Lettings ConsultantLocation: Braintree Salary: £21,000 - £24,000 per annum (DOE) + Quarterly BonusesOTE: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum (plus additional commission opportunities)

As a Trainee Lettings Consultant, you’ll be instrumental in helping clients find their perfect rental property, while supporting landlords in letting their homes. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with prospective tenants to understand their needs and recommend suitable properties.

• Gaining a strong knowledge of our property portfolio.

• Coordinating and conducting property viewings.

• Negotiating rental terms between landlords and tenants.

We welcome candidates from a variety of backgrounds. While previous lettings or property experience is preferred, it is not essential, as full training will be provided. You will need to demonstrate:

• A proven track record in a customer-focused office environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A professional, enthusiastic, and competitive approach.

• Proficiency in MS Office and a willingness to learn new systems.

• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

• Basic salary: £21,000 - £24,000 (depending on experience)

• Realistic OTE: £22,000 - £25,000

• Additional commission through our referral incentive programme (estimated £500 p/a initially)

• Branch Hours:

  • Monday - Thursday: 8:30am - 6:00pm

  • Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm

  • Saturday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
