Lab Assistant
Location: Braintree, Essex
Pay: 12.21 - 13.21 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Lab Assistant to join a manufacturing and production company based in Braintree, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a chemistry background looking to build a career in a hands-on laboratory and production environment.
Duties will include:
Assisting in the manufacturing of various materials and product samples
Supporting Research & Development (R&D) activities
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
Following strict health, safety, and quality standards
Working in both general production and clean room environments
The ideal candidate:
Has a background in Chemistry
Holds Chemistry A Levels or higher (degree or equivalent desirable)
Enjoys practical, hands-on work
Has excellent attention to detail and follows procedures carefully
Is reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
This Lab Assistant role offers long-term potential with the opportunity to progress into a permanent position for the right candidate.
