Salary Scale: £130-£230 per day 

 

Are you passionate about helping students exceed in Mathematics? Do you have the enthusiasm and skills to inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and critical thinkers? We are looking for a dedicated teacher to take on the role to teach Mathematics in a secondary school located in the Braintree area. 

 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Support students in their learning, both in and outside the classroom.
  • Develop and assess coursework and exams.
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and student outcomes.
  • Encourage students to reach their full potential. 

 

Key Skills and qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in the Mathematics field. 
  • Experience working within education 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the needs of students. 
  • GCSE or equivalent at grade C (Pass) or above.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students' academic and emotional development.
