Service Care Solutions have an exciting opportunity for an Estate Ranger to join a client they are working with in Essex.

As an Estate Ranger, you will be a vital presence across multiple estates, taking a proactive approach to ensure that communal areas and facilities are safe, tidy, and well-maintained. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting general communal repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Carrying out grounds maintenance such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, moss removal, and gritting.
  • Clearing communal areas and ensuring fire escape routes are free of hazards.
  • Assisting vulnerable residents with supported garden maintenance and minor household repairs.
  • Removing fly-tipped waste and managing bin stores.
  • Performing garage inspections and repairs to help maximise rental income.
  • Monitoring and addressing anti-social behaviour and ensuring estates are welcoming and safe for all residents.

You will also liaise regularly with tenants, residents, and internal teams to uphold service standards, respond to issues in a timely manner, and contribute positively to the community.

What You will Need:
  • A commitment to providing high-quality service to the public.
  • Experience with basic DIY and grounds maintenance.
  • Competence using tools and performing manual handling tasks.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and good communication skills.
  • Comfortable using digital tools (such as smartphones or PDAs) for logging jobs and updates.
  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
