A large manufacturing in Braintree, Essex are recruiting for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join their growing team.
Who are the company?
This business have over 100 staff, have been established for over half a century and have a fantastic reputation in the local area.
Depending on experience, this will be paying between 14 - 18 per hour. This is working a 40-hour week and will lead to a permanent position after a successful 12-week probation period.
What does the role involve?
- Welding of materials from 3mm - 40mm in thicknesses
- Reading and understanding of technical drawings
- Ability to complete weld tests to execution class 2 standards
- Use of Fabrication machinery in the workshop
- welding of bespoke structural & architectural metalwork
Applicant requirements:
- Knowledge of CAD
- Must be able to read from technical drawings
- NVQ, Diploma or apprenticeship within welding/fabrication or similar
- At least 3 years' experience working as a Welder / Fabricator
