KM Recruitment is seeking a Residential Childcare Trainer Assessor, either trainee or qualified, for a flexible home/field-based role covering South Powys and surrounding areas.
The position offers a salary ranging from £25,300 to £29,500, along with an excellent benefits package including pension and expenses.
Candidates should ideally hold an Assessor's award and possess occupational competency in a Residential Childcare setting, along with a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in the field.
The role involves assessing and supporting learners pursuing Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare up to Level 5, as well as providing assistance in Essential Skills like Literacy and Numeracy.
A full, clean driving license and flexibility for travel are required, and candidates must demonstrate good ICT skills and the ability to motivate and adapt to learners' needs.

Ideally hold Assessors award.
Hold occupational competency of working in a Residential Childcare setting (at any level)
Must hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Residential Childcare/Children & Young People.
Confident to support learners with Essential Skills (Literacy and Numeracy).
Must have a good level of ICT skills
Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.

Duties include:

Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Residential Childcare up to Level 5, as well as Essential Skills in Literacy and Numeracy,
Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
Support, advise and motivate learners.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
