About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Handyman to join the team at a high-end residential development in West London. You will play a key role in ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards, delivering exceptional service to residents and supporting the wider estate team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a broad skillset and a hands-on approach, who takes pride in delivering first-class workmanship and contributing to a well-run, luxury living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the development, including plumbing, carpentry, painting/decorating, basic electrics, and general DIY tasks
  • Ensure communal areas, resident amenities, and building exteriors are kept in excellent condition
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist with minor refurbishments, installations, and improvement projects
  • Liaise with external contractors when required and oversee quality of works
  • Carry out regular inspections and routine preventative maintenance
  • Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any issues to the management team
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and hazards are reported

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role, ideally within residential or hospitality sectors
  • Good working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic electrics
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach
  • Basic IT skills for logging jobs and communicating with the team
  • A proactive, responsible, and flexible mindset

Desirable:

  • Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ)
  • Health & Safety training (e.g. COSHH, Manual Handling, First Aid)
  • Experience working in a luxury or high-end residential environment
