Job Title: Handyman / Maintenance OperativeLocation: West LondonSalary: £28-32k per annum (DOE)Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and proactive Handyman to join the team at a high-end residential development in West London. You will play a key role in ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standards, delivering exceptional service to residents and supporting the wider estate team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the development, including plumbing, carpentry, painting/decorating, basic electrics, and general DIY tasks
- Ensure communal areas, resident amenities, and building exteriors are kept in excellent condition
- Respond to reactive maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with minor refurbishments, installations, and improvement projects
- Liaise with external contractors when required and oversee quality of works
- Carry out regular inspections and routine preventative maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and report any issues to the management team
- Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed and hazards are reported
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar handyman or maintenance role, ideally within residential or hospitality sectors
- Good working knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, decorating, and basic electrics
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, can-do attitude
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach
- Basic IT skills for logging jobs and communicating with the team
- A proactive, responsible, and flexible mindset
Desirable:
- Relevant trade qualifications or certifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ)
- Health & Safety training (e.g. COSHH, Manual Handling, First Aid)
- Experience working in a luxury or high-end residential environment
