The Workshop Engineer / Mechanical Fitter / Maintenance Engineerwill ideally have a general mechanical engineering background or strong interest in mechanical systems, with hands-on ability in fitting, assembly, maintenance, or repair.

- Carry out mechanical fitting, assembly, and overhaul of industrial pumps and rotating equipment.
- Strip down and rebuild mechanical components to specification.
- Inspect and test mechanical assemblies, identifying wear, damage, or faults.
- Assist with repair, service, and maintenance tasks within the workshop.
- Liaise with other engineers and departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
- Experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician, Junior Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, or similar.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with good hands-on fitting or assembly skills.
- Interest in industrial machinery, pumps, or rotating equipment.
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC, HND, or similar) advantageous but not essential.
- Must be commutable to the workshop near Hanwell, London
