- Develop and execute action plans to ensure servers meet sustainable operational standards.
- Ensure the integrity and timeliness of MI (Management Information) processes.
- Maintain and enforce up-to-date operational procedures and documentation.
- Schedule, monitor, and oversee execution of SQL Server jobs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SQL Server operational issues.
- Proactively monitor performance for resilience and reporting accuracy.
- Govern user access controls to ensure compliance and security.
- Maintain detailed documentation on configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Provide support for internal and external reporting/data migration projects.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as required.
- Extensive experience within a SQL Server operational or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture, scripting, automation, and job monitoring.
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of best practice in code development and lifecycle management.
- Proactive, flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Awareness of handling sensitive and confidential data responsibly.
