Key Responsibilities:
- Lead feasibility studies, develop options, and prepare business cases for small to medium-sized schemes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop schemes for council-owned assets.
- Commission and manage consultants for design, planning, and site preparation.
- Assist in procuring a delivery partner.
- Advise on redevelopment schemes, including feasibility and options appraisals.
- Address planning, contractual, and legal issues for proposed sites.
- Contribute to delivering medium-sized schemes.
- Work with consultants and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
- Provide progress reports to Senior Managers and Members.
- Manage consultants and contractors.
- Support disposal and acquisition processes for regeneration projects.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Extensive experience in leading land and property redevelopments.
- Preferably public sector experience.
- Relevant qualifications like RICS or construction/regeneration certifications.
- Knowledge of RIBA stages.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects across multiple sites.
