Baby Room Leader

We are pleased to be supporting a highly regarded nursery in their search for an experienced and passionate Baby Room Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional who is ready to step into a leadership role and make a real impact in the earliest stages of a child’s development.

The Role
As Baby Room Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the baby room, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are consistently delivered. You will lead a small team of practitioners, creating a supportive and positive environment for both staff and children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a team within the baby room

  • Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers

  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and EYFS requirements are met at all times

  • Support staff development through mentoring, feedback, and guidance

Requirements

  • Level 3 (or above) Early Years/Childcare qualification (essential)

  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and baby development stages

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience within a nursery setting

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A caring, professional, and motivated approach

  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check if you don't already have one on the update service
