Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons for Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) students
  • Use experiments, demonstrations, and discussions to make lessons exciting and memorable
  • Monitor student performance and offer helpful feedback to aid their development
  • Adapt lessons to cater to students of all abilities
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the Science department
  • Participate in school-wide events, trips, and extracurricular activities
  • Create a welcoming classroom that sparks scientific curiosity.

Requirements

  • QTS or PGCE qualification is essentialExperience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 levels
  • Strong classroom presence and ability to engage diverse learners
  • Passionate about Science and committed to student success
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • Two recent references from educational settings
