Join the leading name in this specialists logistics organisation, supporting critical deliveries across the UK. We’re seeking a dependable and organised Night Transport Supervisor to join our team and help manage smooth overnight operations that continues without delay.

About the Role

Working from our Brentwood depot, you’ll coordinate night-time transport activities, manage drivers, track fleet movements, and handle real-time problem solving. You’ll play a key role in keeping our mobile units on schedule and ready for next-day deployment to various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting and coordinating with drivers at the start of shift
  • Monitoring transport activity and logging all vehicle movements
  • Recording fuel usage, mileage, and vehicle checks
  • Supporting the daily transport plan and adapting to changes
  • Liaising with customers and handling subcontractor arrangements
  • Keeping accurate records and updating tracking spreadsheets
  • Managing issues as they arise to keep operations running smoothly

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a transport or logistics environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Good working knowledge of driver regulations (CPC a bonus)
  • Confident using spreadsheets and transport planning tools
  • A proactive approach and a calm head under pressure
