Role: Trainee Lock Engineer
Location: Brentwood
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £13ph
We are recruiting for a Trainee Lock Engineer to join a growing, well-established team specialising in vehicle security installations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, has a practical mindset, and is keen to develop a long-term career in a mechanical/technical field.
No previous lock engineering experience is required, full training will be provided. What matters most is a willingness to learn, good attention to detail, and confidence using hand tools.
Duties of a Trainee Lock Engineer:
- Assist with the installation of mechanical locks and security components
- Use hand tools safely and effectively
- Follow technical instructions and workshop processes
- Support senior engineers as you build your skills
What we would like from you:
- Experience using hand tools (personal or professional)
- An interest in mechanical, technical, or hands-on work
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Ability to work well as part of a team
