A dynamic accountancy practice based near Brentwood are looking for someone to be the payroll lead for a small portfolio of their clients whilst offering you the opportunity to work with a diverse range of businesses.

This is an exciting position offering a salary up to £35,000, 25 hour week, a great pension scheme and more.

As a Payroll Administrator you will:

  • Accurately process monthly payroll for multiple clients.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, pension contributions, and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, NIC, student loans).
  • Maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Act as the first point of contact for client payroll queries.
  • Assist clients with payroll-related compliance and best practices.
  • Provide advice on tax codes, deductions, and statutory payments (e.g., sick pay, maternity pay).
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and liaise with HMRC where necessary.

As a Payroll Administrator you will get:

  • Monday to Friday (25 hours)
  • ?Overtime - upon completion of trial period and approved in advance
  • Generous Pension - eligible upon completion of trial period with a 3% employer contribution
  • 25 Days Holiday plus bank holidays
